As an Industry veteran since 1980, Gideon Uys
has distinguished himself globally in many applications. He heads up a new division at Joseph Electronics, JFS. Coming from a family deeply rooted in the South African Film and Television Industry,
Gideon has further enhanced his experience in Australia, New Zealand, England and Italy before coming to the US in 1991.
His experience with fiber ranges from engineering design to sales, from location engineering to management. A winner of 3
consecutive “Technical Team” Emmy Awards for the X-Games (then called Extreme Games), Gideon has distinguished
himself in the design and implementation of many a system and fiber solutions, from Trucks to Flypacks, Events to
Conventions. With the support structure of Joseph Electronics behind him, Gideon and the team at JFS are sure to find the ideal solution for you to solve your fiber or system needs or requirements.
